What Sells

Did you know the average household contains over $2000 worth of unused items? And, with more than 100 million registered members, eBay is the worlds' largest online marketplace, where practically anyone can buy or sell practically anything. iSold It will help you get money by finding online buyers who place high value on the items you no longer want. But what are the best items to sell?

Most Popular Categories:
With our experience in selling on eBay we know what categories of items tend to sell best. If you have items in these categories that you no longer use, you should strongly consider bringing them to your nearest iSold It store.

We all want you to get the highest possible price. We work hard to present your item in the best possible way in our listings. Here are some tips that can help get the most from your auction.

Documentation
Original packaging, manuals, instruction, reciepts, appraisals, accessories -- anything at all that you still have that came with the item -- is almost always helpful in driving up its final price. Before you bring your items in, take a few minutes to find all the related materials you can.

Flaws and Defects
Most of the items sold on eBay are used, and buyers expect them to have some flaws and defects that are disclosed in the listing. In fact, many buyers are wary of purchasing “perfect” items which are not new. If you know of any flaw or defect in your item, please tell us about it when you check in. If you do not, chances are we will both end up with a return from the buyer, resulting in a non-sale for you.

Make It Shine!
A picture is worth a thousand words, and that is certainly true on eBay. While we are more than happy to wipe off a little dust or a few smudges, we are not equipped to clean, polish or in any other way restore your item to its best possible appearance. Take a minute or two before you bring in your item to clean it up and really make it shine.

Item Limitations: As the leading drop-off store in the country, we do have some limitations on what items we can sell for you. First, all items that we accept for sale must also be legal for sale on eBay (no counterfeits, hazardous materials, etc.). Please see the full list of eBay's restricted items for details. To prevent the sale of stolen goods, we require that you present a driver's license or other government-issued photo ID when dropping off your items, and we will mail your check only to the address on your identification. Second, the items we sell must meet a minimum online resale value.
